Tour 1 - Portree Tour Prices : £10:00 per adult, Concession & students £8:00, Child £5:00 Tour Start Times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 am, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm Tour Length: Approximately 45 minutes This tour is a walking tour of Portree, the largest populated area on Skye. The town is full of history and was actively involved in many of the famous historic events on the island. The tour is about 45 minutes long, just turn up at the Somerled Square, Portree to be included. Keep an eye out for the Historic Portree Tours sandwich board displayed in the Somerled Square. These tours will run on the hour every hour, there is no need to book. Maximum 15 people to every tour. Please note - your tour is well researched and is told in an informative and entertaining style by a qualified local historian. Your guide will carry folders with images to help you visualise our stories. Storytelling is important...but a picture can tell a thousand words. We give you both! NOTE: Although guided tours will take place during most of the main session, please check that the Historic Portree Tours “Sandwich Board” is visible in Somerled Square. NOTE: If the Historic Portree Tours “Sandwich Board” is not in the Somerled Square, please contact Michelle Rhodes who will advise when future Portree Tours will be available.
